Reversale is the document which everybody, who converted to the Greek Orthodox Church, undersigned. I have a leaflet with text in German, but I am sure that the texts in Russian and Latvian also existed.

The §97 of the Law Code of the prevention and the avoidance of crimes, vol.XIV, referenced to in the document, prohibits the use of carved or moulded icons in the Orthodox churches except carved crucifixions.

Ich Endesunterschriebener versichere hiermit, dass ich mir durchaus keine ungesetzliche Einmischung in Sachen, den Uebertritt zur Griechisch-orthodoxen Kirche betreffend, erlauben, und mich nicht unterfangen will, die in dieser Beziehung Allerhoechst festgesetzte Ordnung zu verletzen und den §97 im Codex, der Gesetze, Band XIV, wegen Vorbeugung und Vermeidung von Verbrechen, aus dem Auge zu verlieren, bei Gefahr im Contraventionsfalle strengster Verantwortlichkeit zu unterliegen.

I, below undersigned, hereby assure that I, concerning the conversion to the Greek Orthodox Church, will not allow to myself any illegal interference, and I will not venture to infringe any Orders of the Highest Authorities concerning this subject and will never lose sight of the §97 of the Law Code of prevention and avoidance of crimes vol.XIV upon threat to the most serious responsibility in the case of violation.
