The information in the Address book 1928 allows to assert that the addresse of most of the cards was a chorus conductor Vladimir Glagoļev son of Grigory. It remained unknown what kind of chorus he conducted till a leaflet with the program of a concert was discovered in an old-book shop. The beginning of the leaflet was:

The leaflet informs that the concert of the chorus of the All-Saints church will take place on Sunday, May 29, 1932. The conductor of the concert was V.G.Glagoļev that is the main person of the correspondence discussed here. You may know that the Orthodox Church has old traditions of singing in chorus a capella. By the way the chorus sang one song of V.Glagolev himself.

The All-Saints church was situated at Katoļu str. 27, but Glagoļev's family lived at Katoļu 27a at the building owned by this church.

I studied the cards and guessed that Vladimir Glagoļev married Valentina Blaguško from Daugavpils, and her father Filip Blaguško lived there. Vladimir and Valentina presumably had a son Jurij.

I should visit various clinics and doctors all the time. Till now my medical treatment goes on sadly, they compelled me to go without food for 3 days, this was necessary for the investigation with retengenic rays. Now I am busy only with running to where the medical insurance send me and this is really tiresome. How are you, my dear? Am kissing you all but Šuročka thousend times.

11. Comments.	To my understanding of this bunch of cards, the addressee of this card later married Vladimir Glagolev and became V.F.Glagoleva. I wonder what this Russian assylum was, I have no idea at this moment. Roentgen's ray investigation at that time was a pretty new method so no wonder the author had some problems with spelling of the word. Šuročka is a nickname for Alexander (male) as well as for Aleksandra (female).

11. Comments.	The address book of Riga for 1928 informs that at this address lived Vladimirs Glagoļevs, a conductor of a chorus.

9. Text.	Translation: Dear Vovusik! I am writing at the station. When returning home from the town, we together with Kiska have bought a blue baloon for Jurenka, if it survive we shall bring it to Riga. I have received your letters, thank you. I pity you, my little, I even wept a bit. It seems Kiska and mummy also wept when reading your letters! When I'll return back will kiss you a lot for all the troubles you had without me, so to say, I want to drink all the bitterness instead of you! Today at lunch we drank for Juriks' and your health, with the drink we had nameday cabbage pie. By the way, the pie was very tasty! Well, dear, so tomorrow 9 p.m. meet us in the station. Kising so much.Vaļa.

11. Comments.	Vovusik is a childish deminutive of Vova that is a shortened form of Vladimir. Jurenka is deminutive of Jurij. Kiska is a nickname meaning Pussy-cat. Vaļa is a shortened form for Valentina. My understanding is that Valentina writes to his husband from Daugavpils where she paid a visit to her parents. The card was dropped in the mailbox of Daugavpils station, so it reached the addressee next day and he was not late to the train, I think.

9. Text.	Greetings in Angel's day of Vladimir. Also the daughter and Juročka is congratulated with this Day.

11. Comments.	The author should be the father of Valentina - the wife of the addressee. According to the card N1 her father's name was Filip. Juročka is a diminutive for Jurij. Angel's day corresponds to Nameday.

11. Comments.	The card gives information on the job of V.G.Glagoļevs. Obviously he was a teacher also. Leļa is a nickname, but it fits for several names.

10. Picture	Very simple landscape.
11. Comments.	The address also was written in Russian like on other cards written by Glagolevs/Blaguško family members. I think that after the coup of K.Ulmanis that occurred two weeks later at May 15 this language would not be accepted for the local correspondence. Angel's day corresponds to the Nameday. I have a feeling that F.Blaguško also had connections with Russian Orthodox Church. In any case, he was a religious person. In this card he wishes help of Georgij Pobedonosec (a Sent), in N6 he wrote the greeting with some knowledge of the church style, as far as I can judge.
