Ansis Teodors Klaubergs b. Apr.26, 1911 in Stende and Vilma Auguste Irbe b. Oct.29, 1911 in Riga. I have numerous photographs of this couple and of their friends; the pictures should be studied and published. Their photographs at the day of confirmation in the group of fellow confirmants are available now. As far as I know, they had no children.
Strictly speaking, this is not a photograph but printed matter. The photos of the newly wedded couple were printed on the card and it was distributed among the friends and the acquaintances. It informs that Erika Zēvele and Kārlis Liepkāja were married on Oct.23, 1927 in Rīga. Because the card was printed, it was difficult to scan it qualitatively.
O.A.Madernieks has written in the inscription that this is a remembrance of their wedding day on Nov.11, 1941. Whether the initials O.A. belonged to the husband or to the wife, I do not know, because at that time the masculine form of names was also used by women.
This is a photograph of Meierovics family. Numerous
copies of this picture were made for sale by photographers before WW2 and
so they are available in shops today. Zigfrids Anna Meierovics
b. Feb.6, 1887 - d. Aug.22, 1925 was the first Foreign Minister of Latvia.
His wife Anna b.on June 25, 1888. Her father was Paul Fielhold
and mother Lilija Buchard. The photograph was recently published in a newspaper with the names of the children. Unfortunately, I was lazy to write them down and now remember only the name of Gunārs Meierovics, who is the baby hold by the mother. |

To Mr. and Mrs. Sturm (Šturms) from
Anna Meese (Mieze, Miezis)
and her daughter Martha (Marta), Chicago, Oct. 8, 1903. The inscription
was written in Latvian. Social Security Death Index search gave 9 occurrences of Anna Meese and the best fit was a lady born in 1879. |
|
Family of Ernests Miķelsons and Margareta b. Kaužens on Jan. 1, 1939. I have many photographs and postcards from this family archive, that will be described later. Only 2 documents show their marriage date - June 23, 1927 and the birth date of their daughter Ilga - April 1, 1932. E.Miķelsons was a land-surveyor and his photographs provide some information on this kind of activities. One of these photographs has already been published
