|These are the actors of an amateur performance of a play
"Mirdzošā sirds" - The shining
heart, that took place on Dec 20, 1932 in Ape [Hoppenhof]. The performance
was an activity of Ape town circle of L.J.S.Kr. I am not sure, but I think
this acronym stands for Latvijas jaunatnes sarkanais
krusts - Latvian youth red cross. I have no ideas what is the play
On the backside of the card the names of the young actors are also written by one of the actors. On the list he/she mentioned herself/himself simply writing - "I". Another peculiarity of the photograph was that one person was mentioned in the list by the first name only - Nellija. As the photograph was bought at the same shop where some postcards and photographs from the correspondence of Nellija Gruberts and her sisters were available, I suppose that the photograph belonged to one of N.Gruberts sisters (there were two of them).
I have another photograph of theater amateurs from Ape and it is clear some names coincide in both photographs.
The names of this photograph are the following (I have ordered them in the alphabetic order):
