DoktenieksA__.JPG (5794 bytes) Alberts Doktenieks To cousin (male) Jan. 8, 1939 in Griguļi farm.
Photographed in the Daugavpils fortress.
DrechslerA__.JPG (4696 bytes) Anna Drechsler "Anna Drechsler" was the text written on the frontside. The photograph was made in Riga before the WW1.
Dreimanis__.jpg (6624 bytes) Dreimanis To Mr. J.Martiņsons on May 5, 1925 in Riga
This is the signature I deciphered as Dreimanis
Drill__.JPG (6472 bytes) Dril* Unfortunately, the name is not possible to decipher. The date Oct. 11, 1921 is written in Latvian. As the uniform seems to be Soviet and the journal he holds was printed in Soviet Russia - News of the Air Force, the person should be a Soviet aviator of Latvian origin.
Ducmanis_OzB__.JPG (3894 bytes) Biruta Ducmanis-Ozoliņš Inšena Jaunkundzei. Biruta. 8 Oct. 1938.
To Miss Inšens. Biruta wrote only her first name. The family name was added by other hand later. Obviously this is the picture of the confirmation day. Or the wedding day?
DuzelisJ__.JPG (4838 bytes) Jānis Dūželis Inscription: 1. Rotas "lepnums" kar. Dūželis Jānis No taurkalnes pag. Stacij Lāčplesis.
I have understood that Jānis was from Taurkalnes pag. but was photographed in railway station Lāčplēsis.
Dzenis__.JPG (5447 bytes) Dzenis To Mr. Edvarts Ķimenis. Ventspils, railway station. Nov. 25, 1920. Dzenis was a corporal.
