Photographs of well known persons of the time past were used for this Page. Their names were printed on the photographs so there is no possibility of making a mistake. The photographs in their time were bought by fans, collectors or just by people who needed a postcard at that moment. I think that not only very famous people were included in the stock, because some of them I have never heard of before. I bought the pictures occasionally, if they were cheap or were used for the postcard that interested me, therefore this collection does not fit for studying of Latvian pre-war culture.

	Ančarovs. A singer. As his photographs are frequently offered in shops, I guess that he was rather popular singer of his time. Surprising, but no information on him was found in my sources. His another name - Ančarovs-Kadiķis.
	Fricis Bārda. Poet. b. Jan.25, 1880 in Pociems, farm Rumbiņas. Father Jānis, a peasant; mother Ieva b. Lāce. Wife - Paulīna Puskalne, a poetess. (EVP)
	Lilita Bērziņa. An actress of Dailes Teātris. b. Jul.17, 1903 in Riga, died May 27, 1983. Father Dāvis - businessman, mother - Zelma. Husband - an actor Jānis Priede. (EVP) See about here in the description of the "Lāčplēsis" shooting team.
	Elvira Brambergs. An actress of Dailes Teātris. b. May 22, 1902 in Riga, died Dec. 23, 1979. Father Krišjānis, mother Johanna. Husband Pavils Vilips (teacher and author). (EVP)
	Milda Brechmane-Štengele. A singer (soprano) of National Opera from 1921. Born Oct.20, 1893 in Riga, died 1981. Father Jānis. a worker, mother Līze b. Ādamsone. (EVP)
	Kārlis Dziļleja - Tīfentāls. An author. B. Dec.13, 1891. in Brūžkalni, Talsi. Died Dec.16, 1963 in Sweden (EVP).
	Jānis Ģērmanis. An actor. B. Feb.28, 1889 in Riga, died Aug. 15, 1965 in Stockholm. Father - Kārlis, mother - Marija. Wife - Auguste Brechmane, a singer, a sister of Milda Brechmane-Štengele (see above). (EVP)
	Jānis Jaunsudrabiņš. A writer and painter. Born Aug.25, 1877 in Neretas pag. Krodziņi farm. Father - Jānis, mother - Ieva. Graduated from Agriculture school in Vecsāti.
	Kristaps Linde. An actor, b. Oct.23, 1881 in Pēternieku pagasts. Father - Mārtiņš, mother - Līze, wife Marija b. Kīdina (EVP)
